Clearly is an online therapy platform that puts people at the centre. We know that taking the first step is not easy, so we make sure everything else is simple and straightforward: finding your psychologist, booking your session, and continuing your process without interruptions or surprises.
We know that deciding to go to therapy is already an important step. That's why we make sure that everything that follows is as simple as possible.
We only work with psychologists who have gone through a rigorous selection process. You can view their full profile, their training, their way of working, and reviews from other users before choosing. We also offer tools designed to help you get the most out of your process: automatic summaries after each session, notes and tasks between sessions, and a mood tracker so you can see how your progress evolves. And if at any point you feel your psychologist is not the right fit for you, you can change them. Because what matters is that your therapy works.
Clearly offers individual therapy and couples therapy. Within individual therapy, we have psychologists specialised in a wide range of areas: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, work and professional life, life-changing experiences such as grief or trauma, eating disorders, ADHD, and much more. In the initial questionnaire, we ask what you need help with so we can show you the psychologists best suited to your situation.
Clearly is designed to support online therapeutic processes, which means there are situations where in-person care that can guarantee your immediate safety is more appropriate.
If you find yourself in any of the following situations, we recommend seeking specialised emergency care:
- Risk of suicide or active self-harm
- Domestic or gender-based violence situations
- Severe-phase eating disorders
- High-level substance use
- Acute psychotic episodes

Clearly works as a space where online therapy is accessible, clear, and hassle-free. You can find your psychologist, book your sessions, and track your progress, all from the same platform and without any surprises along the way. We also offer tools designed to help you make the most of each session: automatic summaries after each session, notes and tasks between sessions, and a mood log so you can see how your process evolves.
You start by answering a short questionnaire of about 5 minutes, telling us how you're feeling, what you're looking for, and when you want to start. From there, we show you the psychologists who best match your needs so you can choose at your own pace: you'll see their training, experience, working style, and reviews from other users. They even have a short video introducing themselves. Once you've chosen, all that's left is booking your first session. If at any point you feel they're not the right fit, you can change them with no hassle.
It's up to you! In the initial questionnaire, we'll ask how urgently you need support. If you need it soon, we can show you psychologists with availability that same day or the next.
Individual sessions last between 50 and 60 minutes, depending on the psychologist. Couples sessions can last up to 120 minutes. In all cases, it is the psychologist who sets the format that best suits their way of working.
There is no single answer, because every person and every process is different. What we do know is when changes start to be felt: according to a study by the American Psychological Association, around 80% of people notice improvement after 10 sessions. Some users resolve a specific situation and decide to stop there. Others continue for longer to explore deeper aspects of their lives. You decide the depth and duration of your process.
There is no evidence of this. Online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy. The most important factor is not whether the session is online or in a clinic, but feeling comfortable with your therapist and maintaining continuity in the process.
Yes. On Clearly, you will find psychologists specialised in both individual and couples therapy. In the initial questionnaire you can indicate which type of therapy you are looking for, and we will show you the profiles that best suit your situation.
Before any therapist sees a user on Clearly, they go through a selection process in which we evaluate their professional background, their therapeutic approach, and above all, their way of connecting with patients. Only 4% of psychologists who apply become part of the platform. You can read more about this process on our psychologists page.
Yes. All Clearly psychologists hold a four-year university degree, a Master's in General Health Psychology, and a valid licence to practise in Spain. This is a mandatory requirement to be part of the platform.
The choice is yours. After completing the initial questionnaire, we show you a list of psychologists who match your profile and what you are looking for. You can explore each one at your own pace: view their training, experience, working style, and reviews from other users. They even have a video introducing themselves. You decide who to start with.
Yes, and it's something we take very seriously. Your relationship with your psychologist is the foundation of a good therapeutic process, and if you feel they are not the right person for you, you can change them. Your session credit transfers to the new psychologist, so you don't lose anything in the process.
To make the change, you can explore available psychologist options, or if you find it hard to decide or have any special requirements, you can contact us and we'll be happy to help.
You can always write to them through the chat that appears in your profile: psychologists receive a notification and will get back to you as soon as possible.
On Clearly you will find psychologists working with different therapeutic approaches: cognitive-behavioural, Gestalt, psychoanalysis, clinical psychology, systemic-relational, EMDR, third-generation therapies, humanistic, and integrative. In each professional's profile you can see which approach they use and how they apply it in their work, so you can choose with all the information you need.
- Check your internet connection speed as well as your video and audio quality.
- Make sure you have time set aside for the session and choose a quiet place free from interruptions.
- We recommend turning off notifications on your computer or phone to avoid distractions and stay focused on the therapy.
As a tip, you can jot down the topics you want to cover beforehand, which will make the session more effective.
Sessions take place through our platform's video call service, ensuring a secure and private environment. If you have any connection issues, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help.
Yes. You can view your psychologist's availability directly on their profile, and choose the day and time that suits you best.
Yes, you can cancel or reschedule any session up to 24 hours before it begins, at no cost and without needing to give any explanation. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the session fee is non-refundable. In that case, we recommend letting your therapist know and trying to find another time together.
Clearly sessions are held via video call, directly through the platform or the app, with no need to install any additional software. The chat available with your therapist is designed for managing appointments, resolving queries, and staying in touch between sessions, but it does not replace the session itself.
The price of a session at Clearly varies depending on the therapist, as each professional sets their own rate within the platform. You'll find different price ranges based on the experience and specialty of the therapist you choose.
You can pay for your session with a bank card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal. All payments are processed through Stripe, our secure payment gateway, to ensure your data is protected.
Our platform is free for all users. You'll only pay for your sessions at the rate set by your therapist, which you can see on their profile before booking — no additional costs.
Ideally, you should pay at the time of booking to confirm your slot without any complications. If you'd prefer to book first and pay later, you can do that too — just ask your therapist to hold the time and make sure you complete the payment at least 24 hours before the session.
Yes, if you request it at least 24 hours before the session was due to take place. To do so, contact our support team and it will be processed the same day or the next business day.
